After many months I have finally managed to finish the new look website I have been working on. I have kept the old news from the previous version but everything else bar a few things are new.

Hopefully due to the immanent release of UT2k3 you may see these pages updated again regular as I am contemplating getting back into mapping again.

Rain, Rain and more rain. That's basically what the two day event was like. On a more serious note, it was a very difficult event. Many people didn't finish and the local reservoir had flooded 3 days previously making the base camp sodden.

Myself and my team mate finished a very respectable 46th.

I havent posted anything for a while as I have been busy with one thing or another. Started training hard for the Sheffield Marathon again this year. My fitness is ok but my injuries are forever slowing me down :-(

I am thinking of redoing my site as the links need to be changed and I fancy changing the look and feel of it too.

Here are a few pictures of 3 Lord of the Ring Miniatures I have recently painted. There are the full 9 fellowship company in the box but it does take a while to paint them. Next up will be Legolas (if I can ever get back round to painting again)

To speed the site up I have decided to just create links instead of placing the images here. Although the images were small in size I felt that the speed increase would benefit 56k users....ie me :-)

On another note I have decided to post a few pictures on my games on Tribes 2 and Team Fortress. I have been playing Tribes2 for a while now but have only just installed Counterstrike/Team Fortress in the last few days. I can see why there is a lot of people who play this mod.

17/10/2001 - decided to add another JD wallpaper to the collection. This was mainly to use up all the pictures I had so I could clean out my hard drive :-)

10/10/2001 - Just cant stop when I start using Photoshop. The new Judge Dredd wallpaper has about 7 layers, although it looks as though its just a complete picture thats been drawn from scratch. I may remove the text at the bottom as I am liking text on wallpapers less and less, although I still include them.

Been away on holiday and also been busy work wise, so I havent had much chance to do any wallpapers recently. Decided to do a greyscale wallpaper from the king of art Simon Bisley. I will end up doing a color version when I find some decent pictures to use.

ABC Warriors Wallpaper

Decided to continue playing with Photoshop and create more desktop wallpapers. The third Judge Dredd is a montage of characters that has been a major part in the comic with him. This was over 82 layers and took quite a while to do. I will eventualy post links of the originals if your bothered :-) Gives you an idea of what went into it.

The second one is of Strontium Dog and is a simple design, but what makes this the best so far (IMHO) is the use of motion blur and lighting.

First real attempt at doing anything decent in Photoshop (apart from my logo ;-) ) Worked on two Judge Dredd wallpapers for the last few nights. I have gone through allot of transitions with these, but I feel that these are the best two.

UPDATE: Well the new look is coming along nicely, I have to find out if you can have a header page for others to look at code or its a case of cut and paste the header in each page (which I am not looking forward too).
